- Story, by Robert McKee, that one was a tough read for me. So far the book that has really helped me with my scripts is called 'Your Screenplay Sucks' By William M. Akers. That is really what the book is called. It has so many ways to fix what ever you are writing. Sorry to add that one to your list. Roy

- hi gemma, thanks for the feedback, some fair comments, really appreciate it. i think my style in general is quite slow and lowkey and i know it is not for everyone. if you have the time, could you have a look at my short "dj did-nothing", would love a female's perspective. let me know if you upload a script and i'll return the favour. an excellent book i recommend is called "how to write a selling screenplay" by christopher keane (available at amazon). it doesn't pontificate, just explains basic rules in creating intriguing characters and exciting storylines.
